CHIRNSIDES TERMS + CONDITIONS
1/ Corporate accounts where credit facilities exist, strictly 7 days net from date of invoice, otherwise 50% with booking and 50% 1 week before the event.
2/ All other events, such as Weddings, Parties, and small corporate events, reservations, 50% with booking, 50% 30 days prior to event. We will raise invoices on the dates detailed in our contract.
3/ For longer lead events such as 12 months, 15% non refundable deposit with booking, 50% due 6 months prior to the event, balance of 35% due 30 days prior to the event.
4/ All functions require written confirmation to Chirnsides Catering, accompanied by the required deposit within fourteen days of the booking. The deposit is non-returnable in the event of a cancellation. If the company has received no confirmation or deposit the booking will be deemed to have been cancelled by the customer.
5/ In the event of a cancellation of a confirmed event the following charges apply: If the cancellation is made with less than 30 days notice, the full value of the event will be charged. If the cancellation is made prior to 30 days, then 50% of the total value of the event will be charged.
6/ Confirmation of final numbers attending the function must be provided one week prior to the event. The number notified will be the minimum figure charged. A variation of increased numbers may require the costing of the event to be reviewed and an ancillary invoice being raised to increase the level of monies held on deposit.
7/ Clients and their guests must adhere to Chirnsides Catering Health & Safety Policy which is available on request.
8/ The company advise that all food must be consumed after two hours of initial serving, therefore any food consumed after two or more hours of it first being served is at the clients discretion and therefore becomes their responsibility. In the Case of Hot Buffets the initial serving must be consumed within 20 minutes in order to prevent contamination
9/ Chirnsides Catering cannot be held liable for events which are out with our control, eg Acts of God, Transport or Labour Strikes, or any circumstance within the clients own environment which make delivery of the contracted services impossible.
10/ For You and your Guests Safety, Chirnsides Catering Conforms to and adopts current procedures based on HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points principles) As advised by Environmental Health http://www.food.gov.uk
